Illegal loggings in Saami Land?
It may well be asked whether continued logging in Saami areas violates the Finnish Constitution and Finland’s international human rights commitments, argue Hannu Hyvönen and Mikko Vartiainen. Finland has played an active role on the world stage, seeking to put a stop to illegal logging of forests. However, the long-sustained dispute over logging of Saami forests in North Lapland has cast doubt on the operations of the Finnish government’s National Forest and Park Service (Metsähallitus). Sharing the colours

The documentary work with natural colours continues.

This spring we will publish a DVD publication which includes basics for mushroom and plant dying. There is also an inspiring documentary from the Fungi and Fibre Symposium in Rovaniemi and presentation of common mushrooms suitable for dying.

Videoarchives from Argentina

I had a change to visit in Argentina, Buenos Aires in 2004 in UN Climate Change
meeting presenting our campaign Global Ban on GM trees.

On that one weeks trip I was happy to get known famous long term activist
and thinker Jorge Rulli and some of his friend. I also took part
inspirating demonstration to stop big dam project in Patagonia.
